Students’ Survey from DesignIntelligence for America’s Best Architecture and Design Schools

DesignIntelligence is writing to inform you of the students’ survey currently open that we rely on to help inform our issue America’s Best Architecture & Design Schools 2014. There has been some confusion in regards to our various surveys, so we hope that this email will help to clarify the opportunities.

The publication, released in November, provides valuable information for future and current design students in the following four disciplines: architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and industrial design. The issue includes rankings for undergraduate and graduate programs, feedback from students and deans, articles from industry leaders, and more. This survey has an opportunity for your program to participate in the gathering of information that is necessary to put together this issue of DesignIntelligence.

The Students’ Survey, due August 30
This survey invites students in multiple disciplines to fill out a short 13 question survey about their design program, with questions about their personal perceptions of their program, how well prepared they feel for being a part of the professional world, post-graduation plans, and more. This survey does not affect the design school rankings. This year we are asking design schools to reach out to their students and encourage them to fill out the survey. We realize it’s the summer and many students aren’t checking their emails regularly, so feel free to remind them as many times as you see fit until the August 30th deadline. The links are below:
